Working Safely with Compressed Gas Cylinders
Compressed gases are an important part of operations. However, if not handled or stored correctly — they can hurt or even kill people. Compressed gas cylinders contain varying pressures of inert, toxic, flammable, oxidizing, corrosive, or combinations of gases. Care must be used when using, handling, and storing compressed gas cylinders. Also, handling, storage, and utilization will be done according to manufacturer recommendations.
