Design Data 17: Partial Flow Conditions of Box Culverts
Sewers, both sanitary and storm, are designed to carry a peak flow based on anticipated land development. The hydraulic capacity of sewers or culverts constructed of precast box sections flowing full under gravity conditions on a known slope is readily calculated from the Manning Formula.
